On Sunday Stevie and I did something a little different. I drove us to a little village near us and we went for a walk up the hills and over the train tracks. Although it was very windy and extremely cold we still had a lovely time and it was great to get out of the house and escape from revision.
I love being outside in the fresh air and being surrounded by nature puts things into perspective. We walked for about an hour and as the car was just insight it started to rain! *just in time*
My Dad and little sister had done the same walk recently and recommended a tea room so we decided to take a look. It was adorable with traditional English afternoon tea and a whole range of tea. Wow, there were so many different types of tea.
The rubbish weather didn’t get us down as we were delighted to see our food arrive and chat over some hot green tea. It’s great to do something different to change things up. After revising and doing work over the half term I was delighted for a change of scenery.
Have you been on any interesting or different outings lately?
